REGISTRATION
After contacting our conductor Jamie Arrowsmith, and receiving an invitation to join SYO:
Register for the Sudbury Youth Orchestra by:
Registration fees: $100 per semester (fall and winter semesters)
Registration should be completed by the 2nd rehearsal of each semester.
REHEARSALS
Thornloe University, Ernie Checkeris Theatre
Thursdays, 6:00 - 7:30 pm
TRANSPORTATION
Members supply own transportation.
MUSICIANS’ RESPONSIBILITIES
- Arrive a few minutes prior to rehearsal to tune your instrument and get yourself organised
- Musicians are expected to attend all rehearsals; unavoidable absences should be discussed with/approved by the conductor prior to the rehearsal; if you must miss a practice, notify either Jamie or the SYO general email (sudburyyouthorch@gmail.com)
- Cell phones are not to be seen or heard for the duration of the rehearsal
- Wear the required concert uniform at all performances
CONCERT UNIFORMS
Uniforms are the responsibility of the performer.
Performers need:
- White shirt
- Black bottoms
- Black socks
- Black shoes
